Moreton, Dorchester
On Sunday 14th June we'll be walking from Moreton Village, approx. mid-way between Wareham and Dorchester. Approx. 7 miles circular walk through the Frome Valley and woods and over heathland. Easy / moderate walk on parts of The Hardy Way and Jubilee Trail. Some ups and downs but not strenuous. Lunch. Please bring a snack / drink / picnic to have en-route. Maiden Castle
Join us on this weeks ramble: On Sunday 7th June we'll be walking from Maiden Castle, Dorchester. Approx. 6 miles circular walk. Ridgeway path over Corton Down to Martinstown. One long moderate climb and one similar descent. Fairly good paths. A few stiles. Long coastal and countryside views. Lunch. Please bring a snack / drink / picnic etc. (No pub or cafe options today). Swanage
On Sunday 31st May we begin our ramble from Swanage. It's a linear coastal walk to Worth Matravers, via Durlston and Tilly Whim. Generally good paths but distinctly 'undulating'. Two stiles. The plan is to leave a car (or few) at Worth village beforehand, and then, at the end of the walk, drive everyone back to Swanage. Lunch.
