Sunday 24th May. We will be walking from Black Down, north of Portesham and WSW of Dorchester (via Martinstown), for approx. 7 miles circular walk: Jubilee Trail to Hell Bottom & St Barts. Chapel, Corton. Then Friar Wadden & return on S. Dorset Ridgeway via Bronkham Hill. A mostly elevated route with extensive views of coast and scenic downland. Little shelter. A few stiles. Two x ½ mile climbs, otherwise reasonable easy going. Lunch. Please bring a drink / snack / picnic lunch etc. to eat...

Sunday 17th May: 7½ miles, one-way coastal walk from the Chain Ferry to Swanage via Old Harry Rocks. Easy beach / heathland route to Studland village, then hilly route over Nine Barrow Down to Swanage town. Return to start by bus (no.50 bus runs all day, every ½ hour). £3 or free with a bus pass. Sunday 10th May: This Sunday's ramble is from White Sheet Hill near Holt, Wimborne. A scenic circular walk of about 7 miles of heathland and ancient woodland, taking in Holt Wood, Queens Copse, Chalbury Common and Horton Tower. Lunch.
