Puddletown Forest
Our Sunday 18th walk starts from Yellowham Hill, 3 miles NE of Dorchester. It's a circular route of about 6 miles, in and around Puddletown Forest. Moderate. Some ups & downs, but not strenuous. Mostly fairly sheltered. Might be slightly muddy in places after all this week's rain. Lunch, bring a picnic and / or visit the Greenwood Tree Cafe (en-route towards the end of the walk). All welcome, email dorsetramblers@gmail.com for more info.

Ashmore

A long steady climb for last 2 miles or so - but not particularly steep and not strenuous. Lovely elevated countryside and long views. Lunch...

Broadmayne
Our first ramble of the New Year is on Sunday 4th January from Broadmayne, which is on the A352, 4 miles SE of Dorchester. Approx. 6 miles circular walk over adjacent downland and wooded countryside. Undulating but not strenuous. A few stiles and probably muddy in places. Pub lunch at the (excellent) Black Dog PH or picnic if preferred. It's going to be a very cold day, so I would suggest bringing a mid-morning hot drink and snack too. Email: dorsetramblers@gmail.com for more information if...
