Our next ramble starts from Milton Abbas on Sunday 8th February and is approx. 7 miles circular walk to Winterborne Clenston & return. Two short steep climbs, otherwise mostly more gentle grades. 60% woodland (sheltered) / 40% open downland. Attractive countryside and long views. No stiles. Walk details for Sunday 1st February:  Approx. 6 to 7 miles circular walk from West Lulworth. Long coastal views. Moderate, with some climbs and descents. Parts of the route are fairly exposed to bad weather. Lunch. Please bring a drink / snack / picnic etc. (There are one or two local village cafes, but they might be on 'Winter opening hours' .....i.e. closed). Tomorrow's walk cancelled. Please note that tomorrow's coastal walk at Lulworth has been cancelled. I think it's a wise decision by Liz given the continuing very wet and windy weather and the very slippery and muddy conditions. We will re-schedule the same walk for a better day.
