On Sunday 30th we're starting our ramble in Corfe Mullen, approx. 8 miles circular walk over Upton Heath down to Upton House (adj. Holes Bay) and return by a different route. Long views and varied habitats. Some ups and downs but not strenuous. Lunch: Please bring a picnic / drink etc. and / or use the cafe en-route at Upton Country Park. Our next ramble is a 6 miles or so circular walk through the Frome valley meadows towards and around Dorchester from Stinsford on Sunday 23rd. A fairly easy going route, but some paths will be muddy if wet. Please bring a snack / drink / picnic etc. and / or use the Kingston Maurward Animal Park Cafe at the end of the walk. All welcome. Our ramble on Sunday 16th is approx. 9 miles circular walk through Wareham Forest to the Western edge of Poole Harbour and return via Wareham town. A longer than average walk, but an interesting and mostly flat / easy route. Includes a 1000yrs old Saxon church. Paths will be muddy in places if wet.
