Corfe Castle
Sunday 3rd May: Corfe Castle is where our ramble begins, an interesting and scenic circular walk of 6 miles. A woodland and heathland route on parts of The Purbeck Way and Poole Harbour Trail, as far as Scotland Farm. Moderate climb at start, but otherwise fairly easy going throughout. Four stiles. Sturminster Newton
Our next ramble is on Sunday 26th April from Sturminster Newton. Morning: 6 miles walk. Flood plain meadows route towards Bagber, Cutt Mill and return via The Stour Valley Way. Also, optional 2 to 3 miles afternoon walk. Lunch. Please bring a snack / drink / picnic and / or use one of the cafes in St. Newton town centre. Pub lunch suggestion (if wanted) The Swan Inn. Evershot
We begin our ramble from Evershot on Sunday 19th April, signposted off the A37, 13 miles North of Dorchester and 10 miles South of Yeovil. Approx. 6 miles circular country walk to Melbury Osmond & return through the Melbury Park Estate. Mostly fairly easy going. Lunch.
