Sunday 11th October We will be starting our ramble from Sturminster Newton for a 6 miles circular walk. Tracks / fields / quiet lanes, no major hills. Hinton St Mary, Cutt Mill, Bagber and Sturminster Mill. Please bring a snack / drink etc. for an 'elevenses' break. Lunch optional - local cafes and pubs available. On Sunday 4th October we'll be starting our ramble in Milton Abbas (About 6 miles WSW of Blandford Forum). It's an approx. 6.5 miles circular walk towards Winterborne Clenston. An undulating route with some steady climbs and descents, but not strenuous. 60% woodland, 40% open downland. Muddy in a few places if wet. Lunch. Sunday 27th September Our route is from Wimborne St Giles. (W. St Giles is 10 miles North of Wimborne Minster off the B3078 - and 2 miles SW of Cranborne). Approx. 6½ miles circular walk over Cranborne Chase towards Ackling Dyke and Gussage All Saints. Lightly wooded but mostly open countryside. Far reaching views.
