Stinsford

Our Sunday ramble this week is from Stinsford, Dorchester, (off the A 35 roundabout 1.5 miles East of Dorchester).


Approx. 7 miles circular walk from Kingston Maurward alongside the River Frome to Norris Mill, then into Puddletown Forest and return via Hardy's Cottage and The Greenwood Tree Cafe. From the cafe it's a 1.25 mile walk back to the car park. There are a few hills and stiles but it's not a strenuous route. The Rhododendrons are in full bloom now.


Lunch. Please bring a drink / snack / picnic, and / or use the cafe (en-route).
