Minterne Magna

Sunday 29th March: (NB. British Summertime starts at 2am).

This week's Sunday ramble starts from Minterne Magna, on the A 352 road 10 miles north of Dorchester and 10 miles south of Sherborne.

It's approx. a 6 mile circular upland walk over downland and through woods west of the village. Long steady climb to start, then level, then 'undulating' to finish - moderate overall, but not too strenuous. Was quite muddy in places but has probably dried out somewhat since my (wet) recce. Lovely countryside and long views.

Lunch. Please bring a snack / drink / picnic etc.

All welcome, just email dorsetramblers@gmail.com for further info and to let us know to look out for you arriving.
