Affpuddle Heath

The details for next Sunday's walk on 13th October are as follows: starting from Affpuddle Heath, about 8 miles East of Dorchester.

About 7 miles circular walk over (mostly) wooded upland heath down to Athelhampton. Moderate route with several ups & downs but not strenuous. Long views (between the trees)!

Mostly fairly well-surfaced tracks but with some mud in places, especially if wet.

Please bring a picnic lunch / drink etc. to eat en-route.

Please note also that our Annual General Meeting is next Saturday (12/10) at The Portman Hall, Shillingstone, DT11 0SF. The meeting starts at 2pm and all members are invited to attend and have your say on the future of our walking group.
